On The Road

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined.” Henry David Thoreau

In December 2016, I left my apartment in San Francisco, to live a nomadic lifestyle.

I thought about what made me happiest: creating art, traveling, and having freedom and new experiences. And so I decided to do what makes me happiest. Every one has their own version of what a dream life will look like, and whether that is travel or not, it takes courage to push past the doubts, the inertia and the mind’s natural aversion to change. Because change takes work. But it’s always worth it in the long run.

And by the way, about that quote. You can also go towards your dreams filled with fear, doubt and uncertainty. Courage is feeling fear, but acting anyway. The important thing is that you go. The important thing is that you take at least one step, and trust that you will figure out the step after that. Because you will.
